- Zipline and the government of Tanzania have launched a National network of Drone delivery service
- The Service is to deliver a range of emergency medical supplies using drones and follows the launch of a similar service in Rwanda in 2016 (the world’s first medical supply delivery using drones)
- The network will operate from 4 distribution centers with more than 100 drones
- The service is set to start in the first quarter of 2018
